Monica Lin, Esq. MBA

Monica Lin is an experienced lawyer in Los Angeles. She is licensed to practice law in California and New York, and holds an MBA degree in Finance. She resolves business and real estate related legal problems for her clients. As a result, she focuses her law practice on helping and defending business owners and real estate investors.

Before starting her own law practice, she worked at a law firm in downtown Los Angeles. She has gained unique and notable experience, including serving as outside litigation counsel to the City of Los Angeles and financial institutions.

She strongly believes that many lawsuits can be and should be prevented. Many lawsuits arise out of problems that can be avoided or minimized. She advises her clients to take preventive actions early on in their transactions and contract-making process, so that they can minimize costly legal problems and lawsuits.

In addition, she always encourages people: "You don't have to suffer."

"You have hope. Hope is real. It is not positive thinking. It is a certainty," said Monica Lin."Hope is knowing that you will see good things happen in the land of the living. Therefore, you expect good things with confidence whatever the circumstances."

Furthermore, she believes in divine justice.

Monica Lin serves on the Executive Committee of California Lawyers Association, Business Law Section. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) Committee for the 2021-2022 term.

In her spare time, Monica Lin enjoys hiking. She also enjoys studying the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible and encouraging people through the words of the Bible. Since the pandemic in 2020, she has been leading live Bible study classes on Zoom through several ministries. Her Bible study classes have drawn participants from many different states in the US and also other countries including the UK, Germany, Kenya and New Zealand.

During the height of the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, she led a study entitled "Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark" multiple times, which was a study of the Books of Hosea and Zephaniah. She recently concluded leading a study entitled "Choosing Victory, Overcoming Defeat", which was a study of the Books of Joshua, Judges and Ruth. She is currently leading a study of Proverbs, which is often called "the Book of Wisdom".
